Favo(u)rites and Emails

Todays first task is to gather some useful favorites or bookmarks for specific sites into your favorites folders.
Find the following sites and add them to your Favorites:

• Blue Mountains Council
• ABC television
• BBC
• Bureau of Meterology
• Australian Tax Office
• St George Bank

Next job is to zip your favourites folder and email them to me at judith.cooke@tafensw.edu.au.

This week we explore some fundamental web terminology. Download the following documents and write definitions for the terms. wwwdefin.doc. When completed copy the definitions and post them to your blog. This contributes to your assessment.

ISPs...

Those of you who have not completed your ISP task please do so as it is part of your assessment.

For those that have completed the task have a look at the next posting and see if you can get a graphic uploaded to geocities and onto your blog - there is a limit of 50kb for our geocities files - any files over that weight will be eliminated!!!

Perhaps another challenge for you would be to find some hosting space of your own, do you get an allowance with your isp that is not bieing used - check and see!!!
